Raised in picturesque Juneau, Hanni was a little Alaskan with a penchant for picking blueberries in her rain boots and feather boa. A born collector of all things beautiful, her parents would often find her toddler "treasures" tucked carefully away into boxes and bags.
Seeking an immersion in haute couture, Hanni left to study in New York City and earned her B.A. while working in planning for the highly regarded event company, The Wedding Library. She studied ikebana -- the art of flower arrangement -- in rural Japan and apprenticed with Flowers in the Foyer, a leading South African floral design team.
As a Peace Corps Volunteer she rearranged a bus to sit next to a cute boy.

A northern Californian native, Jesse was the 8 year old who was chasing butterflies while the rest of the team was chasing a soccer ball. After graduating from Humboldt State, a passion for adventure led him to explore the globe, from Guam to Guyana. Always one to work with his hands, Jesse is never without a project - be it a playground or a pendant.
